While at Uruphong a Redshirt told me that the Thai Army was firing upon and killing people at Victory Monument. I got to Victory Monument 15min after he told me this to have a look around. I walked around for about 20 min and saw absolutely no sign of any injuries or anything of the sort. There were still some burning tires but the circle was under the control of Thai troops and there were no Redshirts in sight. I asked a reporter if he had seen anything and he told me that no one had been injured there. Pics below:
