Alright first a bit about me so people know who is writing this. I live in Krung Thep Mahanakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahinthara Ayuthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udomratchaniwet Mahasathan Amon Piman Awatan Sathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukam Prasit (which is like the greatest name - ever), also known as Bangkok. I'm currently working as a manager at an English school here and total have spent about 3 years in Thailand off and on. Before moving here I was in the U.S. Army in the 4th PSYOP group and I have a BA in History and an MA in Strategic Intelligence with a specialization in terrorism.
I'm creating a blog for a few reasons. First off I had been planning to create one for a while dealing with SE Asia (esp my beloved Thailand) and various trends in security matters. I'm creating it at this time, more specifically, because of the protests here over the last couple of days. I got some pretty cool pics and saw some some pretty wild things (even by Bangkok standards) over the last few days so I am creating this blog now to explain what I saw and to explain what I believe happened. Once I finish describing the events of the past few days I may move on to other things but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. Hope you all enjoy reading my thoughts - or at least send me some amusing hate mail.
